SHRINKHALA

This block print design was developed as part of the advance print design course, a classroom project, under the guidance of Mrs. Shruti P. Mahajan,where I took the fountain grass as my inspiration, studied and interpreted it with a touch of Sanganeri.

The blocks were developed at Sanganer, Rajasthan and the printing of the products took place at Pedana, Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, where the block printed Kalamkari is also done, with all natural dyes and techniques.
