This Graduation Project is sponsored by Swadeshi Silks based in Bangalore, India. The project spanned across a period of six months, from October 2022 to March 2023.

Brief

To design surfaces for home furnishing suitable for curtaining and upholstery for high end luxury markets of UK, US and Europe using techniques of embroidery, jacquard weaving, screen and block printing or combination of them

PROCESS

The design process of this project started with in depth research of the customers/editors' respective design languages as well as what only Swadeshi offers to them through investigation of Swadeshi's style.

The approach developing the designs have been highly hands on and minds on with in depth research as foundation.
